Every year, J.D. Power and Associates surveys people who have purchased a new-model vehicle, following 90-days of ownership. Officially called the Automotive Performance, Execution and Layout (APEAL) study, the investigation assesses participants' satisfaction with about 100 vehicle features (i.e., riding and handling and comfort and convenience).
