Honda CR-V Leap Year Contest

Honda has recently launched a contest called the CR-V Leap Year contest. To participate, enthusiasts must submit a Leap List, seemingly inspired, at least in part, by the Bucket List starring Jack Nicholson and Morgan Freeman. Only instead of featuring a collection of things to do before death, the Leap List features 10 things drivers would like to accomplish before taking their next big leap in life. Some top examples include running a marathon, getting married and living overseas.

In addition to the list itself, there are a few other things Honda panelists will judge Leap Listers on. These include updates on progress made toward completing list items, evidence of progress in the form of photos and videos, as well as comments. After the panelists pick 50 Leap List finalists who demonstrate strong commitment to completing their respective agendas, the Leap List community on Facebook will vote to determine not only a grand prize winner but also the nine runners-up.

That's right. Mirroring the number of items featured on participants' Leap Lists, there will be a total of 10 winners! The grand prize winner will receive a new Honda CR-V and year's supply of gas! The nine runners-up? Well, they don't make out too badly themselves. Each will receive a gift certificate to REI (a popular store among outdoor adventurers) in the amount of $1,000.

Sound good? Visit http://automobiles.honda.com/leap-list/contest/. There, you will find additional details (including contest rules) and directions on how to compose your list. If you'd like to learn more about the Honda CR-V in the meantime, feel free to visit Lujack Honda at 3700 N Harrison Street. We're always happy to share specs, compare models and arrange test drives.
